SERIOUS CONVERSATION
It's clear that I'm going to need to have a serious conversation with my fiancee when he comes over later tonight. I came over to his apartment earlier this morning to pick up some notes and books I left behind and I saw some papers resting on the coffee table nearby that said something about Denver filing bankruptcy. I didn't catch everything it said. I could've easily read through the documents but I didn't want to pry. I'd rather just tell him what I found. I have a feeling it's not something for one of his clients. I know he's been having some financial problems lately. I had all sorts of things that I wanted to get done today, but this is all I can think about now. I'm completely distracted. If these are his papers, I'm just wondering why he didn't open up to me sooner. I really thought we could tell each other everything. I really thought we had told each other everything. If he really is the one who's filing for bankruptcy then I have to wonder what else he may be hiding, you know? That is a pretty big secret to keep from your future wife. I'm just glad I discovered this now and not while we're in the midst of planning some outrageously big and expensive wedding. He's going to have lots of explaining to do when he comes home!
