I work for a printing company and there are some days where we get so overtaxed with work that I can’t take a break or even go for lunch.  A lot of my company’s projects are printing up map books and neighborhood guides.  But does every neighborhood need a guide to it?  Is there a huge need for a North Center Chicago neighborhood guide?  Most people who live in Chicago have never even heard of North Center.  They do not know that it is a neighborhood in their city.  I should know.  I lived in Chicago for 26 years before I ever heard of it.  Sure, I passed through the neighborhood a lot, but it’s a small neighborhood.  What is it?  Just a couple of streets?  That doesn’t need a neighborhood guide.  It certainly doesn’t need a map.  If you get lost in North Center, all you have to do is turn.  You’ll get where you’re going then.  All right, all right.  I realize I’m just taking my frustration out on this neighborhood because its name was printed in the last batch of neighborhood guides and I had to work overtime again and I don’t get time and a half or anything like that for my troubles.
