I feel both nervous and excited right now! I was invited to go out for the evening by a Denver bankruptcy attorney. It was totally unexpected! I have no idea where we're going which is what makes it even more thrilling! He wanted it to be a surprise. All he said is that I should dress more formally, so I went with my best friend last week to look for some elegant evening attire. I would've been really embarrassed to admit to the guy that I didn't have anything like that in my closet and I really haven't been shopping for anything even remotely fancy for myself in such a long while. I have not done this type of thing in such a long time! It seems like after my boyfriend and I split up, I just seemed to fall into some type of rut. For a period of time I lost interest in dating. I lost interest in all of it, really. This is honestly the first time I've been out with somebody since then. Sure, I had offers from lots of different guys, but I couldn't muster up the enthusiasm to date any of them. For some reason, I just decided to take a chance on this guy. I felt some sort of spark and I'd like to explore what that's about. Well, I better start getting ready!
