MARRIAGE IS NOT EASY
After I spend a long, hard day at work trying to figure out how to get more targeted traffic for various websites, the last thing I want is to come home and have to do a dozen chores, but I always do. I eat a quick dinner and then start to work. Before I know it, it’s 11:00 at night and I’m still too wound up to sleep, yet I have to get up at 5:30 in the morning. And what is my wife doing while I’m cleaning and dusting and buying groceries and doing whatever else? She’s a medical billing coder, which is of the few jobs you can actually do from home. She took classes for it and everything. So she makes her own hours and generally sleeps in. She’s always been a bit of a slob and doesn’t mind living with a mess everywhere. She doesn’t even shower every day. So while she sees nothing wrong with leaving things until later, I don’t want garbage piling up in the corners of our home. I knew what she was like when I married her and I swear everything else about her makes up for her laziness and generally poor hygiene, but it’s not always easy. No marriage is.
