My friend Kae has just about hit bottom as far as her finances are concerned.  She is way out of control when it comes to spending money.  She has maxed out all her credit cards, borrowed money from anyone who would lend it to her, with no way of paying it back, and then she makes a lot of promises to herself and everyone else involved that she is going to get her life together, figure out how to manage her money, and then she promises she will be on track for life, just as soon as she gets up the nerve to go ahead and file Chapter 7.  She says she has been sort of looking around for a good attorney to help her through the process.  But I think she will have to completely hit bottom before she fixes things.  It’s like she’s a shopaholic and she is going to loose everything she has if she does not amend her ways.  We have not been bailing her out of her scaps like we used to.  She is finding it hard to handle.  She can’t go out an eat every night like she used to, and that hurts her.
