When I was in high school a good friend of mine, Jordan, moved away. I had gone to school with him since we were in Kindergarten, and we had really been through a lot together growing up. Our families were all good friends, and our families even vacationed together a few times. During our junior year of high school, Jordan found out that his dad had gotten a job as a Tampa bankruptcy attorney. I remember the day that Jordan found out. He was really very upset. He did not want to have to leave all of his friends in the middle of high school and have to make new ones at a new high school. We had both played football together as well, and he was also worried about whether or not he would be able to make the football team at his new high school. Jordan had two younger sisters, and it was much more timely for them to move. The middle child, Emily, would just be entering high school in the fall, and the youngest, Allison was going to be beginning middle school. I know the move was hard on the whole family, but Jordan really took it the hardest.
