I'm so excited right now! I just made a really good connection with someone tonight. It was such a random encounter too. The funny thing is that we are both Indianapolis bankruptcy lawyers, so we just clicked right off the bat. Well, I'll explain what happened. My friend called me up the other day to tell me about one of those speed-dating events coming up. Right away I groaned when he said it. I really did not want to go. He's been bugging me to go to one of these things with him for the longest time already. He practically begged me to give it a chance and I felt bad for the guy, so I just said “fine” this time. The idea behind the one I went to is that you have only five minutes to introduce yourself to a bunch of different people and see if there's any chemistry. I was very skeptical about the whole thing until I got there. Right away I spotted her! She was gorgeous. I truly was not looking for anyone at all. I couldn't wait until we had our five minutes together. The connection was mutual, so we exchanged number's and I'll be calling her tomorrow to schedule a proper date. As irony would have it, my friend didn't even wind up meeting anyone!
