I decided to try a new way to get to my girlfriends’ place today. Seeing as how there is construction between here and forever on the Eden expressway, I have found that Golf Road goes straight to my girlfriends’ place. It is a little bit of a run around, but I though it might be being stuck behind a truck reading the same bumper sticker about South Bend Chapter 13 for two hours. I was sorely mistaken. I thought that all I would have to deal with would be relatively easy traffic and the stop lights, but it was probably just as slow as it would have been taking the expressway. The difference was the distance. I had to go around the world to get to Golf Road and it just was not worth it when I finally got there. I could have probably been half way to where I needed to be if I had taken the highway. It was just a completely aggravating drive with the stop and go. I think I am going to try it one more time tomorrow morning just to be sure but if it takes more than an hour, I will never use the route again.
