My girlfriend is what you would call flighty, or easily distracted.  If you out her in front of a light show that went on forever, she would stare and stare and stare.  She loses everything, her cell phone, her phone case, her wallet, her credit cards, and her ATM card.  Part of the job of being her boyfriend is making sure she’s able to find all of that when she needs it.  And of course she loves to talk and talk and talk.  Most men will say that women love talking, but she loves to talk ever more than that.  Without prompting, she will tell anything and everything that happened to her throughout her day.  I think that’s the main reason that she’s with me.  I sit there and I listen to every single thing she has to say whereas everyone else gets bored after a minute and their attention wanders.  I realize the irony in that a person with massively low attention span needs to be with a person with a high attention span.  People have told me that I’m too good for her, mostly my friends who all think highly of me, and that I should be with someone as educated as I am, but I do love her.  I can’t exactly explain it, but I think that’s part of why it is.
