COLLEGE GRADUATES

In a better world, no one would ever have to worry about filing for bancarrota.  With a better economy, all us college graduates with our highly expensive degrees would be able to get better jobs than working for menial pay at retail stores and such and would be able to pay our bills.  Have you ever heard that 30 is the new 20?  This is why.  No one in their 20s is making enough to get by.  There’s still much shameful stigma attached to living with your parents, but so many twenty-somethings still do because they just can’t pay all their bills and rent with the job they currently have.  There is a whole generation of underachievers who are underachieving because of the economy and not because of their own sub-par efforts.  How much money does it take to live by yourself in the city these days and not really have to worry?  You’re probably going to pay 700 or 800 dollars every month just for the rent.  Then there’s utilities, the phone, cable, Internet, insurance, your car, and everything all mounts up.  Rising gas prices are only going to make everything worse.  People need their cars.  Not everyone can take the bus or train everywhere.  It’s just not feasible.
